DropBox Permissions – Team Folders & Groups etc.

The template used in Biology for DropBox is:

The administrators have access to the DropBox Admin interface for creating groups and team folders, and granting permissions

The Admins create groups for Biology labs and teams.

Groups can have two types of member:

1. Member

2. Manager

A group Manager can add members to the group.  This is done by selecting the group (bottom left corner has group list … click and select group and add members).

Team Folders are also created by the Admins and permissions are then granted to the groups. Only group members have access to a Team Folder.  A manager of the group can only grant access to the Team Folder by adding users to the group.
